Max Leads Streaming Services in Satisfaction

Whip Media surveyed over 2,000 U.S. consumers and asked them how satisfied are they with the available streaming services. Max has been leading the streaming platforms when it comes to service satisfaction for two years already. The organization has been conducting its survey on streaming platforms for five years already.

Moreover, the study found that the overall satisfaction for top-tier streaming platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, and Max is gradually decreasing. On the other hand, major mid-tier services like Apple TV+, Hulu, Peacock, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount+ saw overall satisfaction with the increase attributed to the content changes from quality, variety, and product value.

Despite Max's lead, the streaming platform fell short with only 88 percent compared to its 94 percent rate in 2022. Disney's Hulu ranked second while Disney+ landed third. Netflix made a shocking drop as the service only ranked sixth place.

Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu are Bound to Stay

Aside from satisfaction rates, the survey also provided additional findings. For instance, Netflix remains the most indispensable service regardless of its changes. Respondents stated that they would keep Netflix if they could avail of only one streaming subscription. Meanwhile, Prime Video and Hulu are the platforms that are most likely to be kept by their subscribers.

On the other hand, Paramount+ resonated the most with its subscribers proving its ability to provide quality and variety of movies. Both Apple+ and Peacock gained year-over-year in terms of quality and variety for original series, libraries, movies, user experience, program recommendations, platform value, and indispensability.
