Google has announced a new update for its Pixel phone subscribers with multiple user profiles on their devices.
The November update is set to fix storage issues for the Pixel 6 to Pixel 8 Pro that received Android 14 updates, including bug repairs "causing devices with multiple users enabled to show out of space or be in a reboot loop."
The major bug fix is the first update for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro since launching on October 4 and 12 respectively. The updates will release today globally with more to roll out in the coming weeks.
More Pixel Phone Updates
Aside from the storage bug fix, the tech giant also issued out more updates and repairs for its Pixel series devices.
Another system update will solve issues "causing system instability when apps request an app that is no longer installed," while an interface upgrade is given to fix the bug causing desktop icons to disappear after unlocking and wallpapers being misaligned for devices with a notch or hole punch camera.

A Month-Long Bugs and Issues
The bug fixes came after users with multiple accounts on their devices being unable to access their phones' media storage and reboot the device with a "Factory data reset" message in October. Multiple accounts include the users, guests, restricted profiles, and child users.
Google has previously advised users to do a factory data reset as a temporary workaround while the company prepares an update and recover data for phones stuck in a reboot loop.
Google has already experienced previous bug issues in the past with the launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in 2021, but has been proactive with the fixes since, Android Police reported.
