Paramount+ launches a massive display to promote the upcoming season 2 of the "Halo" series during the CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil this weekend.
Paramount+ Promotes 'Halo' for CCXP
The massive promotional display will offer a photo opportunity for the fans featuring the posters and logos from the series. It is also designed as the Covenant firing range for practicing moves to beat Grunts and Elites.
According to the report, "Halo" is making an appearance at the conference as part of its promotion for the second season. The next installment of the series is set to be released next year as the production was not affected by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
During the weekend, Pablo Schreiber is set to panel at the event discussion. He will be joined by the new co-star Joseph Morgan, who plays the operative James Ackerson. Executive producers David Wiener and Kiki Wolfkill will also be attending to discuss the next journey of John-117 and his fellow Spartans.
What to Expect With 'Halo' Season 2
"Halo" debuted at Peacock in 2022 and quickly became the platform's most successful show ever released. The first season focused on the UNSC at war with the Covenant while a human rebellion aimed to break away from the military. As the Spartans and the Master Chief try to save humanity, the show manages to preview some of the backstories of the elite group.
The second season is expected to pick up directly from the finale. The Chief has finally given control over his AI companion Cortana in order to save the Spartans. The future of John remains uncertain for now but the war with Covenant is far from over.
The main cast is expected to reprise their roles for the second season. Morgan will also be joined by Christina Rodlo as the newcomer for the upcoming season.
