Kardashian thanked Glu Games, the game's developer, and all of her fans who played the game since it first launched in 2014, saying that "this journey has meant so much to me."

The 43-year-old model and socialite said she realized that it is "time to focus that energy into other passions."

The free-to-download game used to be one of the most popular mobile games in the 2010s, generating over $160 million in its first months and named as part of the 100 best games of the decade by Polygon.

It also helped Glu Games develop other similar games featuring other Hollywood A-list stars like Gordon Ramsey and Britney Spears before it was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2021 for $2 billion.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood has already been removed from the Apple Apps Store and Google Play Store but its downloaded version can still be played until April 8.

Kim Kardashian's Mobile Game was a Trendsetter for a Whole Generation

The concept of the game first started when Kardashian partnered with Glu during the initial seasons of "Follow the Kardashians."

With the success of the show, the mobile game also experienced a surge in users as teenagers try to role-play as their favorite Kardashians.

The game features model, dating, and group events that have been hallmarks of the Kardashians' show.

Players can even dress up their Kardashian character to look like the current fashion styles of their idols.

Kim's other family members like Khloé and Kris Jenner were also featured in the game.

Will Kim Kardashian Make Another Mobile Game?

Short answer: no.

Over the past decade, Kardashians have become business giants in the fashion and clothing industry.

Kim herself has launched several successful brands, including the widely popular Skims underwear and apparel line.

Recently, she also launched a private equity firm called SKYY Partners to invest in other businesses.

The best chance of seeing her again in a game is probably when Epic Games collaborated with the Kardashians for a Fortnite skin.
