Elon Musk is now facing a defamation lawsuit from one of his employees on X (formerly Twitter) in Ireland.
Aaron Rodericks, former co-lead of Threat Disruption at X, has filed a case in a Dublin court, accusing Musk of defaming and damaging his reputation in one of the billionaire's posts.
The post Rodericks referred to in his lawsuit is a response Musk made in firing the Election Integrity team "that was undermining election integrity." X reportedly dismissed half of the team.
Rodericks, who headed Twitter's anti-misinformation campaign, was among the employees terminated as part of the company's cost-cutting decisions when Musk took over in 2022.
Rodericks was able to suspend his termination in a separate court proceeding that alleged that his firing was a deliberate move from Musk due to his critical statements towards the billionaire.
X's Irish division, Twitter International Unlimited Company, was included as a recipient of the lawsuit.
More Lawsuits Mount Against Elon Musk
This was not the first time Musk or his companies have been accused of intentionally firing employees critical of him.
Earlier this month, dismissed SpaceX staff filed a lawsuit against the spacecraft manufacturer for unlawfully firing them because of their critical message towards Musk.
Before that, the National Labor Relations Board filed its first complaint against Musk for terminating Yao Yue after she tried to organize other Twitter workers upset with the batch layoffs.
As of writing, more than 2,000 former Twitter employees are fighting their claims for unlawful termination.
Court reports, however, suggest that neither Musk nor his legal team attended any of the hearings.
Musk is yet to respond towards these allegations.

Elon Musk Faces Another Controversy
Musk has been under a lot of fire over the past year and it seems like controversies are sure to follow the notorious billionaire this year.
Just last week, several Tesla and SpaceX executives expressed concerns about Musk allegedly using illegal and recreational drugs. In response, Musk insisted that he has been clean for three years now.
X also has yet to recover from the advertiser loss it suffered last year following Musk's anti-Semitic posts and pro-Nazi content appearing next to ads.
