Pokemon GO revealed the details of the upcoming Carnival Love event which is set to launch on February 13 at 10:00 a.m. until February 15 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
The Carnival Love event will exclusively feature Shiny Oricorio for lucky players.
Pokemon GO Celebrates Valentine's With Carnival of Love
During the event, players can change their Natural Form Furfou to Heart Trim Furfrou. Different trims will be available that will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
In addition, players will have the chance to encounter Baile Style Oricorio in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Pom-Pom Style Oricorio will be making an appearance in America.
Meanwhile, Pa'u Style Oricorio will be available on the African, Asian, Pacific, and Caribbean Islands. In the Asia-Pacific Region, Sensu Style Oricorio could be encountered.
Moreover, Flabébé with different colored flowers will appear in the wild. Players in various regions can get red flower Flabébé, blue flower Flabébé, and yellow flower Flabébé.
Pokemon GO Adds Event-Themed Tasks, Challenges
Event-themed field research tasks will also be available which will allow players to encounter Snubbull, Roselia, Luvbdisc, Clamperl, Furfour, Spinda with a heart pattern, and Stufful. Lucky players might also see them in their shiny variation.
As for the collection challenge, players will receive XP, Stardust, and an encounter with Roserade. The Luvdisc Tambourine Pose will be available in the in-game shop even after the event has concluded.
Meanwhile, the Pokemon GO team reminded players to be mindful of their surroundings while playing. They are also encouraged to follow the guidelines from local health authorities when playing the game.
