Brilliant Labs Offers AI Superpowers With Frame

AI startup company Brilliant Labs claimed to provide "AI superpowers" for people who would purchase the $349 Frame glasses. The device offers a chance to translate, browse the web, and analyze visual cues within the lens.

According to the official website, the visual analysis is powered by OpenAI. Meanwhile, the real-time translation of conversations is powered by Whisper. Web searching is made possible by perplexity.

In addition, Brilliant Labs announced that any user can utilize their code as Frame is an open-source under the MIT license. "Always open-source, we believe the future of computing must be built by all of us," the company wrote.

Upon its launch, the subscription for the AI services is free and will be subject to a daily cap. However, the company announced that a paid tier will be coming soon.
