Apple Vision Pro Welcomes OmniFocus 4 as Native Task App

The OmniFocus task app is now available as a native productivity tool for Apple Vision Pro.

The app is also available to other Apple platforms that use watchOS, iOS, and macOS.

OmniFocus Debuts on Apple Vision Pro

In a blog post, OmniFocus announced that the Vision Pro-supported app features all the same tools introduced in OmniFocus 4.0. "In OmniFocus for Apple Vision Pro, badge counts truly float over the Perspectives Bar in three-dimensional space, and the Inspector and commonly used buttons have found new homes outside the application window," the company wrote.

There were also minor design tweaks that were made specifically for the Vision Pro. For instance, there is a Quick Entry button for the headset's app instead of the usual double-tap shortcut for iPhones and iPads.

The Omnifocus app is free to download on the Apple Vision Pro App Store. Users are given a two-week free trial upon installation. Existing subscriptions to OmniFocus 4 on other devices will be credited to the Vision Pro as well.

OmniFocus Expands Productivity Tool

Aside from providing support for Vision Pro, the app is also working on its web version. The company announced that OmniFocus for the Web has been updated visually to match the design of the existing app across other platforms.

"New OmniFocus 4 functionality, like flexible lists in Forecast and new grouping options in Tags, is now also accessible via OmniFocus for the Web," the company shared. The update will soon be released to its web customers.

OmniFocus offers a subscription of $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. The plan will unlock the Pro version of the app and allow continuity across Apple devices and access to the web version.

Alternatively, customers can subscribe to the web version only for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. The OmniFocus is also available for a one-time purchase for only $74.99 for the Standard and $149.99 for the Pro version.
