Peloton Collaborates With Defected Records, Brings First-Ever DJ Residency

Peloton announced its new partnership with Defected Records, a renowned dance music label, that will bring live DJ rides for members starting March 21.

Live DJ rides from Peloton Studios London will feature six cycling classes, along with custom mix classes, and bespoke mixes curated from the Defected Records.

Peloton Offers Live DJ Rides for Members

The first class will be taught by Leanne Hainsby on March 21 which will include a custom mix by DJ and BBC Radio 1 broadcaster Arielle Free. In addition, DJs like Ferreck Dawn and Monki will be featured in Peloton's live DJ ride in June.

"Each of the cycling classes will be led by Peloton's UK Instructors, including Ben Alldis, Leanne Hainsby, and Hannah Frankson with classes featuring genre-defining house and electronic music," the company announced.

Peloton aims to recreate a similar experience to nightclubs around the world for their members using mixed live. Peloton's SVP of Music and Content Partnerships Gwn Bethel Riley shared that each class is designed to transport attendees from their home or studio to a Defected night club.

Peloton Live DJ Rides Availability

Both members and non-members are welcome to book and attend the classes. The content is also streamed live to Peloton Members at home.

In addition, Peloton Studios London announced that all Defected classes will be designed to have a distinct look and feel using production enhancements like lighting and haze. These elements will be done to elevate the experience both in the studio and at home.

The Peloton x Defected classes will be available to Peloton All Access and App+ Members. New members can try the 30-day free trial of App+. Interested attendees are encouraged to regularly check the latest class schedule at Peloton's website.
