Developers and students are all invited to attend Apple's annual event which aims to help professionals and enthusiasts to get insights from experts. The event will also be available on the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube.
"WWDC is all about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them make something even more wonderful," said Susan Prescott, Apple's VP of Worldwide Developer Relations.
Meanwhile, an in-person experience will be held on June 10. The special event will allow developers to watch the keynote live, talk with Apple team members, and participate in special activities.
Other parts of the conference will include video sessions but Apple assured that there will be opportunities to engage with the company's designers and engineers.
Apple Expected to Announce AI Plans at WWDC
Aside from the usual annual upgrade announcements, fans are expecting to get a glimpse of Apple's AI plans at the WWDC. For a while, the company has been reportedly working on catching up with the AI trend.
Last year, Apple made a shocking announcement by introducing the Vision Pro headset at the WWDC. Now, the headset has been tested and purchased by many. The device is also subjected to get AI features soon given the previous report of Apple planning to acquire an AI startup company.
Recently, there have been rumors that Apple is in discussion with Google to license Gemini. If true, there is a high possibility that Siri will get a huge upgrade for the next iOS updates.
