We have seen a lot of movies rise in popularity not only because of the narrative but also because of the world that its creators managed to bring to life. Some universes are charming and relaxing while others are so bad you're glad they're fictional. Here are universes you wouldn't last in.
1. 'The Hunger Games'
In the world of Panem, it really is a strike of luck if you are born into the richer and more developed districts. If you were born into the lower ones, you'll spend your life in poverty and life-endangering labor like working in the mines.
Even if you are born into the best districts like District 1 or 2, there's still a chance that you could get picked for the annual Hunger Games. Your chances of surviving that would be slim to none, especially if you land in a district that doesn't train its residents for the games.

2. 'Mad Max'
Living in the world where "Mad Max" takes place would make you question if the life is actually worth living. Other than the constant violence around you, the place you live in is also desolate and hot to the point that it alone could kill you.
You won't have the basic amenities and resources and if you do, they will be extremely scarce. Even if you do have enough supplies to survive a post-apocalyptic wasteland, you'll be fighting for your life most of the time since everyone else would be ruthless and would not hesitate to kill you.

3. 'Divergent'
The era before the Erudite took over might've been easy, and you could survive by keeping your head down and doing what your faction requires of you. Even the Dauntless aren't plunged into danger all the time as long as everyone is following the rules.
Once the Erudite took over, however, it was much harder to live peacefully. If you were categorized as Abnegation, then you'd have to survive the slaughter brought on by the mind-controlled Dauntless. Never mind if you were Divergent since you will be hunted everywhere.

4. 'A Quiet Place'
Imagine a life where you cannot listen to music, stream movies, or even speak a word to the people around you. Not only will life be incredibly boring, but not abiding by the rules could also lead to you dying and those around you.
Forget most of the pleasures you enjoy right now. Even if you do find a place where you can make noise, the universe in 'A Quiet Place' is post-apocalyptic, which means that you'll have a hard time finding anything for leisure.

5. 'Bird Box'
If "A Quiet Place" robbed you of the option to make sounds, "Bird Box" will give you no choice but to cover your eyes to keep you from seeing the mysterious creatures that can urge you to off yourself. The beings were said to take the form of a person's fear, grief, or pain.
For starters, you'll have to survive the moment everything begins. Even if you do and you discover that keeping them out of sight is the key, a simple slip-up like looking out a window or looking through camera footage could mean the end for you.

6. '2012'
Let's face it, if an earth-shattering cataclysmic event happened, the majority of the global population would be wiped out. Only the select few, the elite of the elite, would survive the apocalypse, mostly because they would be in on any ark-like projects.
You will have to be someone significant to be invited into a vessel that would survive all the natural disasters that the Earth would throw at humanity. You have to either be a high-ranking political figure or one of the leading experts in an important field. Otherwise, enjoy the waves.
