Popular YouTube Kids Series 'Tab Time' Expands With New App, Children's Book, Online Store

YouTube's popular kids series "Tab Time" launched the Tab Time World app, a new children's book series, and an online shop, as part of the series' expansion.

The "Tab Time" features Emmy-winning host Tabitha Brown, also known as the "America's mom" and is co-created by Brown and Kids at Play founder, Jason Berger.

YouTube Series 'Tab Time' Partners with Google

In an exclusive report with Variety, "Tab Time" has reportedly partnered with Google Kids Space to develop its eBooks and app. The products will be available for free on Google Kids Space and Google Play for a limited time only.

"As a parent with young kids, I get most excited about other parents reading these books with their children during story time at night. The books and app are really good for kids, and I'm proud to put something out into the world that I will let my own kids use," Berged shared.

The co-creator also expressed his gratitude to parents who continuously give feedback for "Tab Time", citing that guardians often ask for more accessible tools to help them in parenting.

'Tab Time' Introduces New Narratives for Series

The first two books in the series are called "Avi to the Rescue" and "Lenny and the Truck-Driving Dinosaurs," wherein the characters are based on hybrid live-action and animated series. Moreover, the upcoming stories in the book series are expected to follow episodes from the YouTube series.

"The stories will piggyback off the episodes. Like when we feel afraid, or when we make a mistake, that's really an oops-ortunity. We're helping kids give themselves space and time to grow, learn, respect and love themselves and others," Brown explained.

The Tab Time World app will allow users to make their own avatar based on the series "Imagination Land." Kids can also make videos with avatars, songs, and images that they created in the app by simply following prompts.
