Fans of the Assassin's Creed Mirage can try the game for free for a two-hour trial from April 16 to April 30.
Players can still resume their progress once they purchase the game after the trial period expires.
Ubisoft Offers Two Hours of Free Assassin's Creed Mirage Gameplay
Assassin's Creed Mirage is the latest installment to the long-running video game franchise. In an X post, Ubisoft announced that the game will be available for a two-hour free trial until the end of the month.
Players who want to continue their progress must purchase the game through the official Ubisoft Store or avail of the Ubisoft Plus subscription. The game is also available on PlayStation and Xbox digital stores.
The free trial is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. According to Assassin's Creed Mirage's official website, the permadeath mode and the Desaturated Blue filter from Assassin's Creed 1 will be available on the free trial.
Ubisoft Plans for Assassin's Creed Franchise
Recently, Ubisoft released teasers hinting about the future of its popular gaming franchise. It has only been six months since the Assassin's Creed Mirage was released but the developers are already working on the next major title.
The next installment is under the codename Assassin's Creed Red which is set in ancient Japan. The game is expected to be released sometime in late 2024. Over the years, fans have been requesting a Japan-based setting for the franchise.
In addition, other titles such as Assassin's Creed Hexe which is rumored to take place in 16th century Germany when witch hunts used to be popular, are also under development. Other updates for the franchise are expected to be announced at the Ubisoft Forward event on June 10.
