In an X post, the battle royale game shared the teaser and a caption of a wink and thumbs-up emojis, directly referencing Vault Boy's iconic pose.
Fortnite Collaborates With Fallout for Chapter 5 Season 3
Epic Games announced the upcoming Fortnite event on the game's news feed. The news revealed that the collaboration will be part of Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked as "courtesy of the Brotherhood of Steel.
Fortnite has yet to release more details about the collaboration. Fans are expected to see all the exclusive in-game items once the event starts on May 24. The duration of the partnership is also unspecified for now.
Some fans suggest that Fortnite will most likely drop Brotherhood of Steel and Vault Boy skins for Battle Royale. Popular items from the franchise could also be added as accessories while music from the series could also be added.
Fallout Continues Newfound Success After TV Series
The Fallout franchise is much older than Fortnite. Both games have their share of popularity. These days, the franchise is still enjoying its newfound success after the release of Amazon Prime Video's "Fallout" TV series last month.
Some fans are hoping for a series-based collaboration in Fortnite. Popular characters from the show like Lucy, Cooper Howard, and Maximus, could also make appearances during the event.
