Beats Pill Speaker 2024 to Receive Major Upgrades

The new Beats Pill is a portable speaker that will feature major upgrades from the 2015 Beats Pill+ version. According to 9to5mac, it will perform louder sounds with bigger bass and reduced low-end distortion.

Moreover, the speaker boasts a doubled battery life from up to 12 hours to 24 hours. Apple also resolved its dust and water resistance by upgrading it to an IP67 rating.

In addition, the Bluetooth speaker offers compatibility across iOS and Android devices through one-touch pairing and auto pairing for compatible devices. There will also be support for Apple's Find My and Google's Find My Device.

Apple Tweaks Beats Pill for 2024 Model

The new Beats Pill speaker will also feature a couple of hardware improvements compared to its predecessor Beats Pill+. For instance, the USB-A charging will be replaced with the USB-C, similar to all the latest Apple devices.

The package will also include a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging and wired audio transmission. The lanyard, which was both seen on James and Ricciardo, is also included and removable.

As of writing, Apple has yet to announce and confirm the speaker. Some suggest that it could launch sometime this summer. In the meantime, the speaker is only visible to top athletes.
