Star Wars: Hunters Releases Gameplay Trailer for Nintendo Switch, Mobile

Lucasfilm Games and Zynga unveiled the gameplay trailer for the upcoming Star Wars: Hunters game that is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS on June 4.

Star Wars: Hunters' release will coincide with the premiere of "The Acolyte" on Disney Plus.

Star Wars Expands Franchise With Video Game

Star Wars: Hunters is a third-person and PVP online game set on the planet of Vespaara. Players can mix and match teams, enhance skills, and customize their Hunters to get the winning combination to win the game.

The game was first introduced by Zynga in 2021. Now, fans can soon play the game on Nintendo Switch and smartphones. The gameplay trailer revealed the different characters available in the game along with the various game modes that will be available once the game releases.

According to reports, each character will have its own back story which ties them to the narrative of the larger universe. Some of the game modes included are Squad Brawl, Trophy Chase, and Power Control.

Star Wars: Hunters Gameplay Expectation

Players will have to face a 4v4 battle among different teams. Each fight in the arena required different tactics which could be adjusted through character customization. Each character is equipped with distinct playstyles to explore.

Star Wars shared that it will give a Nintendo Switch exclusive for players which will unlock the Shift Veteran costume and Shift Blaster wrap. In addition, emotes like "Raise Your Fist", avatars, rifles, and more will be rewarded to players who will pre-register for the game.

While the game is launching as a free-to-play title, it is expected that the game will introduce microtransactions and exclusive benefits for players who will spend money in-game.
