Jackbox Games introduced the Jackbox Megapicker, allowing gamers to view, sort, and filter their games on Steam for free, starting in July.
Over the years, fans have been requisition for Jackbox Games to launch a unified way to switch between their games.
Jackbox Games Releases Much-Awaited Product
The Jackbox Megapixer will be launched on Steam as a free exclusive product on the platform. The studio, known for its collection of games inside packs, has been receiving requests to unify all the packs.
Fans would usually purchase packs that they liked which included various game titles that each had unique gameplay tactics. However, games would have to remember which pack had which game or go check one by one to play a game.
"Enter The Jackbox Megapicker: a free product exclusive to Steam, where you can view your game library, sort and filter the games you love, and quickly launch an evening of fun," the studio wrote in a blog post.
Jackbox Games Retains Popularity After 10 Years
The first Jackbox Party Pack was released in 2014. The pack contained five games such as You Don't Know Jack 2015, Fibbage XL, Drawful Word Spud, and Lie Swatter. The success of the first pack led to the development of subsequent packs.
Currently, there are 10 Jackbox Party Packs available for purchase. Most of the game titles are designed for multiplayer since it is intended to be enjoyed with parties. Drawing, writing, trivia, and hidden games are just of its main genres.
Each Jackbox Party Packs are usually priced at $29.99. However, the platform often discounts its older packs like the Jackbox Party 4 which is currently on sale for $12.49. A starter pack is also sold for only $9.99.
More details about the Jackbox Megapicker will be released through its official social media sites. As of writing, the specific launch date is yet to be determined.
