Disney has created a lot of movies for people who are suckers for the "happy ever after" ending. However, it's suddenly dawning on people that some relationship arcs don't make sense, such as wanting to marry a man they just met, as Queen Elsa said. It's not always like that, and these couples are proof of that.
Tiana and Prince Naveen
The writers had the right idea when they paired a hard-working girl with big dreams and a carefree man who has had it all since he was born. First solely motivated by breaking the spell that turned Prince Naveen into a frog, he slowly becomes more selfless as the story progresses.
It was also an enlightening experience for Tiana. She used to bury herself in work to the point of exhaustion just for the sake of finally building her dream restaurant, but Prince Naveen taught her how to find beauty in things like music and other people.

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
This kind of revolves around the same premise. A man who only cared about himself and getting what he wanted, and a girl with goals she wanted to achieve. In time, Flynn's barriers slowly break down as he sees Rapunzel as a person emanating light and warmth.
Rapunzel, even after all the scary stories Mother Gothel told her to keep her from leaving the tower, still managed to see the good in Flynn. Of course, she had another motive, which was seeing the "floating lights," but she still accepted him as who was. Flynn, of course, was inspired to change for her.
Movie: "Tangled"
Anna and Kristoff
Based on how Kristoff treated Sven, people could already tell that he was the kind of guy who had a good heart. He might've been reluctant to help Anna at first, but he became a protector to the princess who knew nothing about surviving outside the castle.
Like the first two mentioned couples, it first began as a friendship born from shared experiences, which is what makes the budding romance even better. A girl who talks a lot and a boy who talks to his reindeer? It's an absolutely adorable match.
Movie: "Frozen"
Hercules and Megara
Hercules' ultimate goal was to live among the Olympians as a god himself, and so he trained to be the hero who deserved the title. Even with all the girls fawning over him, none caught his attention the way Megara did.
Of course, Megara was only out to trick him at first, but seeing how pure his heart is, she gave up her deal with Hades to spare Hercules. The demigod, in turn, gave up the chance to be a god even after all the work he put into it, simply because it meant he could not be with Meg.
Movie: "Hercules"
Carl and Ellie
Both heartwarming and heartbreaking, Carl and Ellie's story was only shown in the form of milestones. Still, it was touching to all who watched the movie, and most shed a tear by the end of the short story within the film.
The young and timid Carl found the young and adventurous Ellie, and it led to a lovely and wholesome marriage. Even though Carl failed to bring Ellie to Paradise Falls when she was still alive, he strived to bring their home to the scenery regardless.
