Dead by Daylight Reveals Lara Croft as New Survivor

In a blog post, Croft will be added as a standalone character without a Killer or map once she arrives at the game. Her Dead by Daylight debut will come with three perks.

This includes the Finesse which allows fast vaults 20% faster if the character is healthy and Hardened which can reveal the Killer's aura for a limited amount of time once the chest is unlocked and a totem is blessed. The Specialist will gain extra tokens when opening chests, allowing players to consume all tokens during a great skill check.

"Her memories of Yamatai may fade with time, overtaken by nightmarish black fog. Yet the lessons she learned will remain ingrained, even in the face of endless terror," the post read.

Dead by Daylight Surges Popularity With Regular Updates

Dead by Daylight was launched by Behaviour Interactive in 2016. The studio has been frequently releasing updates, including new characters, and events to keep players hooked to the game.

Special collaborations from popular horror franchises brought popular characters to the game such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Meyers, and characters from "Stranger Things," and "Resident Evil." These partnerships and licensing deals allow the studio to expand the game's reach by featuring characters from other franchises.

A big patch is now available in the Public Test Build version 8.1.0 which was supposed to debut the Disconnect Bots. The feature would have allowed a bot to respawn a player in case of accidental disconnection. However, the feature will not go live due to negative feedback.
