AT&T Next Up Anytime Provides More Customer Flexibility

In a blog post, AT&T shared that the new plan is designed to give more choice and flexibility to customers who seek the latest smartphones in the market. With an additional $10 per month, customers can upgrade their device once the current phone is paid by 33 percent or more.

"If there's a cool feature - like AI or the device folds, or just a sleeker design on the latest smartphone, we want to make the experience easy for our customers to upgrade earlier and more often," said Erin Scarborough, senior vice president of Consumer Product, AT&T.

The Next Up Anytime plan is offered to all AT&T wireless plans. Customers must sign up for the AT&T Installment Plan and include the Next Up Anytime subscription after purchasing a smartphone.

AT&T Closes Next Up Program for New Customers

AT&T announced that it will no longer accept new customers for its cheaper program, Next Up. Existing users of the program can still keep their subscription until they upgrade their smartphones.

The Next Up program is the first early adoptive plan of AT&T that offers customers the chance to upgrade their device sooner than it is supposed to be for only $6 per month. The program allows upgrades as long as the current device has been completed 50 percent already.

The Next Up Anytime program opens a better for customers, allowing them to take advantage of the 36-month installment plans of AT&T. Customers can now upgrade within their first year of installment once they are eligible to apply.
