THQ Nordic Teases Fans With New Darksiders Game in Development

THQ Nordic announced that a new Darksiders game is currently in development, along with a mysterious trailer that will be available on PlayStation 5.

The project remains untitled for now but the studio teased that it will take place in a "chamber impossibly old."

THQ Nordic Preps for Another Darksiders Game

In a PlayStation blog post, THQ revealed that the Darksiders' future is secured already. The company did not give that many details but assured fans that a new game for the franchise is on its way.

"Three colossal stone heads, suddenly set ablaze with otherworldly flames. The Charred Council awake, and roar a single word in unison: Horseman," the game teased.

The short trailer featured a fiery chamber that is about to be discovered by the gamers. Most of the elements were mysteriously laid out, emphasizing the blazing three stone heads.

The studio assured fans that more details will be revealed in the following months.

THQ Nordic Reveals Upcoming Game Releases

The Digital Showcase of the studio unveiled its scheduled game launches within the year. For instance, the 2D adventure platformer The Eternal Life of Goldman is set to debut later this year.

The Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be released on September 24. The game is designed for Mickey Mouse fans to explore and discover new secrets about the character's history.

Game sequels such as Wreckfest 2 and Titan Quest II are also on their way to debut on PS5. Wreckfest 2 will feature new customization and racing events while Titan Quest II will focus on the showdown between Nemesis and her hordes.

Other games lined up in the studio include the Gothic 1 Remake, Way of the Hunter: Lintukoto Reserve, and a new game from Tarsier Studios.
