'Beast Games' Participants Reported Poor Living Conditions While Filming

The first round of filming took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas wherein around 2,000 participants stayed during the show. The competition required the players to give up their supply of food, clothes, and medication to staff.

'Beast Games' promised players of a grand prize of $5 million upon completing the game. The contestants conducted their daily life such as eating, sleeping, and generally living inside the stadium.

However, the contestants revealed that the meals provided by the production were only tiny portions of oatmeal, raw vegetables, and hard-boiled eggs. Participants also revealed MrBeast's Feastable chocolate bars. They were also sleep-deprived and the staff were dismissive to some medical needs.

MrBeast Representatives Defends Over Populated Show

According to reports, the initial number of the contestants was expected to be around 1,000 only. Some of the participants felt misled by this promise and were surprised by the doubled number of people during the filming.

"The MrBeast promotional video shoot, which included over 2,000 participants, was unfortunately complicated by the CrowdStrike incident, extreme weather, and other unexpected logistical and communications issues, which we are currently reviewing," said a MrBeast representative to the New York Times.

The show was first announced in March and around 2,000 applicants were accepted. During the process, the applicants were asked about their willingness to participate in several activities that would test their endurance and stunt skills.

Participants signed an NDA upon joining the show and will remain anonymous while claiming the poor conditions of the show.
