'Star Wars Jedi' Series: A Success for EA and Respawn
The past decades have only proved that the Star Wars franchise is still highly significant in pop culture, particularly in game where many Star Wars titles have seen huge success. While not all are highly related or commercially successful, EA and Respawn's Star Wars Jedi has brought the franchise to greater heights as it delivered a single-player action that highlighted insane lightsaber duels.
Its 2019 release, Fallen Order, is considered one of the best Star Wars games there is, as it offers a unique story focused on Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who made his path following the horrifying genocide of his kind known, which is known as "Order 66."
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor later followed after four years, and it still focuses Kestis' solo journey. This time, however, players have a more experienced jedi in their hands, who has to face greater challenges in his quest.

EA and Respawn has apparently decided to end the franchise with a bang, right at its peak, with its third and last game on its way.
