Apple may have gone all out for the iPhone 16 series in its September event, but October will bring more from the Cupertino-based tech giant. It has already been previously reported that Apple Intelligence will finally be available for eligible devices, but there has been big speculations regarding other releases, including new M4 Macs.
It has also been reported that iPad upgrades will also be coming in the next month, continuing Apple's busy fall season.
Apple is Setting Up for a Massive October with Apple Intelligence
Apple previously announced the anticipated release of Apple Intelligence, which has been set for October. It will be available across its tech ecosystem, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
For its smartphone lineup, only the iPhone 15 Pro and later models will get this feature via iOS 18.1. However, for the iPad and Mac, only the M-series-equipped devices are eligible for it, which will become available via next month's iPadOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1.

New M4 Macs, iPad Lineup Also Speculated for October
Those awaiting Apple's new Macs and iPads probably cannot wait for September to end as reports are now piling up about a new fall event featuring these devices. According to 9to5Mac, there are three Mac models slated for next month, and it may be joined by two rumored new iPads.
M4 will be the star of the show, and it will be available for the likes of the MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and a new iMac.
The MacBook Pro is known for offering multiple M-series chip variants, which include the base M4, M4 Pro, and the M4 Max. On the other hand, the Mac mini will reportedly also feature the M4, but it will also see a hardware change as it was rumored to be getting smaller, close to Apple TV 4K's size.
Lastly, the iMac is also rumored to be on the receiving end of these updates.
On the tablet side, Apple is reportedly debuting its much-anticipated iPad mini 7, which will feature a new A-series chipset and its anticipated new display that will fix the mini 6's "jelly scrolling" issue. The report also said that recent rumors suggest that there are plans for the classic iPad to be released in its 11th generation.
Apple Rumors to Complete its 2024 Lineup
Earlier this year, the M4 chipset was already introduced when it debuted alongside the new iPad Pro, particularly its seventh generation model, and the iPad Air's 6th-gen release. With these, analysts and speculators have kept the rumor mill going regarding Apple's plans for the rest of the year.
Trusted sources like Bloomberg and other tech analysts have corroborated reports behind the future of M4 in Apple's releases, claiming that they are on track for new devices. Only the MacBook Air was not included in the M4 upgrade as it is expected next year.
October is the month when Apple typically announces new Macs and iPads as evidenced by past showcases, but all of these remain under speculation as the company is known for not teasing its devices beforehand.
