The purported Microsoft Lumia 535 has leaked online in a set of photos, along with some spec details, ahead of the Nov. 11 unveiling event.
Microsoft has officially announced that it will be hosting a special #MoreLumia event on Tuesday, Nov. 11, where the company will unveil the first device(s) under the Nokia-less Lumia brand.
Anticipation is building up ahead of the big unveiling and a new leak now aims to paint a clearer picture of what to expect. The first handset under the new Microsoft Lumia brand is expected to launch as a low-end Lumia 535, and now we have more details on the matter.
In an exclusive new report, WMPowerUser has shared some details regarding the Lumia 535's purported specifications. The publication has also posted several images of the device, with the mention that the photos show a dummy unit, not a working Lumia 535. Nevertheless, this gives us a better idea of what the device may look like.
While it's all still in the rumor state at this point, the newly-leaked images allegedly showing the Microsoft Lumia 535 fall in line with Microsoft's own teasers for the event, as well as the colorful fashion of the Lumia lineup.
The Microsoft Lumia 535 is expected to launch as an affordable device with low-end specs on board, pioneering the new Lumia brand under Microsoft's reign. According to WMPowerUser, the Lumia 535 will sport a 5-inch display with a modest qHD resolution, and pack a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor under the hood. Other purported specs include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage capacity, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front shooter, dual-SIM support, and a 1,900 mAh battery to keep things up and running.
In terms of weight and dimensions, the device will reportedly measure 140.2 x 72.45 x 9.32 mm and weigh in at 144.7 g.
Microsoft is also rumored to have a Lumia 1330 phablet in the pipeline, ready to debut as the successor to the Lumia 1320 phablet. Nothing is confirmed in this regards either, however, and it is highly recommended to take all leaks, rumors, and reports with a hefty grain of salt until the formal unveiling.
