HTC One M9 retail listing reveals full specs, press images ahead of MWC 2015 debut

The much-touted HTC One M9 briefly surfaced on a retailer's website, complete with full spec details, pricing, and seemingly official press renders.

The upcoming HTC One M9 is one of the most hotly-anticipated smartphones of this year and it's set to make its official debut next week, on March 1, right before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 kicks off in full force.

Just a few days ahead of the big unveiling, German retailer Cyberport has listed the HTC One M9 with full details on specifications, as well as some neat press images that look official. The retailer has since pulled down the page in question, but nothing ever really disappears from the Internet. Mobile Geeks spotted the listing in due time and preserved a cached copy for everyone to see.

Cyberbot may have prematurely listed the HTC One M9 by mistake, and the fact that it pulled the page shortly after suggests that it may have been the real deal. On the other hand, retailers sometimes launch product pages in advance, before the devices officially debut, and in some cases they do it based on rumors and speculation rather than the real product. Consequently, it is advisable to take this HTC One M9 listing with a grain of salt until the company formally unveils its new flagship.

Nevertheless, the listing on Cyberbot bolsters previous rumors and leaks regarding the HTC One M9's specifications. More specifically, the upcoming smartphone is expected to sport a 5-inch full HD display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity, and microSD support for additional storage. Other purported specs and features include a 20-megapixel rear camera, an UltraPixel front shooter, a 2,900 mAh battery, LTE-A, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, and Dolby Sound. On the software side, HTC's next-generation flagship smartphone should run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

The press renders Cyberbot posted show the alleged HTC One M9 in two models - Gunmetal Gray and an interesting silver-golden combination with silver on the rear and gold on the front and sides. Not too long ago, famous tipster Upleaks tweeted that the One M9 would come in gunmetal gray, silver-golden, and golden color options, and this listing further bolsters the claim.

When it comes to pricing, Cyberbot listed the HTC One M9 with a €750 price tag, which falls in line with how 32GB flagships are typically priced in Europe.

It remains to be seen whether this listing shows the real deal or not, but we'll get the official scoop from HTC in less than a week and bring you the latest details as soon as it's unveiled. In the meantime, take all leaks with a grain of salt.
