Talking about phablets, long-standing fans should really get excited as rumors reveal Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is set to be released in mid-August.
The rumored release data were initially tipped by Evan Blass on Twitter, posting "Samsung Galaxy Note 6 US release scheduled for week of August 15." Even though he only mentioned the U.S., The Independent believes the device will make its worldwide debut on that same day, just like Note 5 that was unveiled on Aug. 21 last year.
Although the announcement was without an official confirmation, it pretty makes sense for Samsung to launch ahead of Apple's iPhone 7, which is reportedly due to be out by September.
What many tech savvies anticipate the most is the rumored Samsung Focus, which organizes different apps such as calendar, e-mails and memos into one location. Basically, there is no need to swipe back and forth as Focus will do it all for you. Apparently, fans need to wait for the launching to delve into more specific details.
Meanwhile, for selfie addicts and photo enthusiasts out there, Samsung Note 6's camera is really something to look forward to. According to Sam Mobile, the company is working on a camera resolution between 18 and 24 megapixels and a new compact 1/2.3-inch camera sensor. The company reportedly aims to improve the image quality of its cameras, "and it seems to have a very aggressive roadmap."
Based on the leaked information from sources, Note 6 will relatively be epic. According to Know Your Mobile, storage capacity is tipped to reach up to 256GB internal storage, a 4,000 mAh battery life and a 6GB of RAM. Screen display spans at 5.8 inches, bigger than Apple's iPhone 6 Plus' 5.5-inch widescreen. It also has a Note slot-in stylus for navigation.
With all these awesome and edgy updates circulating around the web, it seems like Samsung will be giving Apple a tough competition.
