"Ori and the Blind Forest" has become one of the most highly commendable games from last year. Now, fans are in for some treat, as the game has entered the retail realm.
The single-player platform-adventure from Moon Studio first made history in Xbox One. After which, its PC version was released. Since then, it acquired massive success.
Finally, according to Engadget, fans of "Ori and the Blind Forest" can now take hold of the game's Definitive Edition for only $20. And not just that -- it comes with additional features such as the game's original soundtrack, which arrives on CD.
For the retailed price of $20 only, "Ori and the Blind Forest" can be purchased in a special quality packaging, with a manual and poster included. This is certainly worth spending on.
Fans can also opt to acquire the game's limited edition, which includes two additional posters, original soundtrack and two postcards. All of this amazing stuff for only $30.
Tech Times, on the other hand, reports that the Definitive Edition of "Ori and the Blind Forest" features two new contents (one of which being an expansion about Naru, the adoptive mother of Ori). Moreover, it is also said to include some gameplay customizations like the fast travel and extra difficulty tweaks.
Moon Studio's Thomas Mahler said it all rooted from the "Ori and the Blind Forest" community. Since the game was unleashed, they have been receiving a number of mails and tweets, requesting for a retail release.
Originally, it was Microsoft who was in-charge in releasing the game to Xbox One and PC in the past. But now, as for the Definitive Edition, Nordic Games will take the driver's seat. Currently, there has yet to be an official announcement regarding the game's limited edition for the Xbox platform.
The Definitive Edition of "Ori and the Blind Forest" will hit retail stores come June 14 for both Xbox One and PC.
