Nope, "Cyberpunk 2077" will not be part of E3. Well, this surely will disappoint lots of expecting fans. But CD Projekt Red is said to present another game instead!
Electronic Entertainment Expo, or commonly known as E3, is fast approaching. It is expected to run from June 14 to June 16, and it is where a huge number of video game titles and other related products will be shown.
CD Projekt Red's "Cyberpunk 2077" is among the highly anticipated games that will debut at E3. Unfortunately, according to Gamespot, the upcoming dystopian role-playing game will not be part of the popular event.
Marcin Iwinski, the company's head, said that "Cyberpunk 2077" still has a lot of work to do; hence, it will not make it to E3. Instead, CD Projekt will reportedly present a different game, which up to now is still unknown.
In the past, there have been lots of talks about the mystery game that CD Projekt might debut at the upcoming event. And now, with "Cyberpunk 2077" being not part of the presentation, it just seems to connect the dots.
It is worth noting that the company based in Poland is said to be working on an unannounced game. Despite not releasing elaborated details, the unknown title is believed to be a new kind of video game format that the studio has yet to explore.
Eurogamer, on the other hand, reports that one of the games fans have been so eager about is "The Witcher 4." Hence, many believe that this could actually be the unannounced game. However, basing on the fact that it is an unexplored video game format, the rumored "The Witcher" installment does not seem to fit.
Iwinski also iterated that if they are to pursue yet another "The Witcher" title, it must set the bar higher. Also, it must not do lower than the previous ones. It is always about improving and/or making new stuff.
For now, people are certain that "Cyberpunk 2077" will not make a grand entrance at E3. And whatever CD Projekt Red is planning to unravel, only time can tell.
