Save Donald Trump in the New Surgeon Simulator Update, Or Not

A simulation game that lets players have their way with Donald Trump? Steam just released Surgeon Simulator: Inside Donald Trump, a video game designed for those who want to vent frustration over the Republican nominee.

The surgeon simulator is reminiscent of the board game Operation. It's interactive, fun, and full of surprises. There's also an add-on which puts Donald Trump on the operating table. The difference: the game doesn't deliver electric shocks if a player makes a mistake, so it's possible to botch an operation just for kicks.

Mindless Fun At Donald Trump's Expense

Players still need to save lives to progress in the game. But, as the Grand Theft Auto franchise have shown, it's possible to enjoy repeating side missions if it involves mindless fun, never mind the storyline.

There are also odd, if not random twists thrown into the gameplay. Players might find misplaced items inside Donald's body, such as a miniature of Trump Tower for starters. The game is not meant to be taken seriously, considering that there's an option to transplant a heart of stone or gold into the Donald.

Developer Bossa Studios promises plenty of Easter eggs in the game, like surgical missions requiring the use of a makeup kit. Surgeon Simulator is also a steal, on sale at Steam at $2.89 until June 9.

Just Another Parody In The Genre

The Next Web compares Surgeon Simulator: Inside Donald Trump to similar concepts, particularly Goat Simulator, and a Christmas Shopping Simulator which lets loose the frenzy of holiday shopping in a bad way, like a Black Friday mayhem gone terribly wrong.

The Verge reports the new Surgeon Simulator is an instalment of a 2013 release, which follows on the trend of parodies and games designed to ensure players fail. In Surgeon Simulator 2013, different players have control of every finger, leading to either great teamwork or a deliberately botched operation.

Surgeon Simulator is an unrealistic simulation, disregarding the laws of physics and even common sense. Bossa Studios keeps the pace interesting by releasing unlikely scenarios and options in each instalment.
