Clearly, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Game of Thrones" are different. Aside from the kind of entertainment they offer, their settings are an eon apart. However, they have one thing in common -- they both have Jon Snow in them! Yes, the bastard from Winterfell is reportedly playing a role in the game, only that he is a villain.
According to Ubergizmo, fans of Kit Harrington (famously known as Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones") will see his bad side in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" soon. The actor is said to be playing a villain role in the upcoming title from Activision. Harrington will be the frontrunner of the so-called radical group Settlement Defense Front.
The 29-year-old English actor will lead the said organization in a mission to wreak havoc in planet Earth. So for "Game of Thrones" fans, your Lord Commander may not be the theorized Azor Ahai in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" game.
Talyor Kurosaki, the game's narrative director, describes Harrington as an actor with "amazing talent" and a "consummate pro." He is set to play a totally different character, contrary to his bearded Jon Snow.
Speaking of his beard, fans will no longer see Harrington's manly hairs, as reported by Crossmap. He will appear as a beardless dude, who will be digitalized to play his villain "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" role.
In fact, the "Game of Thrones" actor shared a video on his Instagram account, wearing wires and whatnots for CGI effect. In the image's caption, he mentioned being "the face of the enemy" in the upcoming game. He shared the video directly from the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" motion capture set.
In order to deliver Harrington's character, both Activision and Infinity Ward have sought the help of director Guy Ritchie. He is famously known for helming "Sherlock Holmes" and "Snatch."
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set to be showcased at the forthcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this month.
