'No Man's Sky' Update: Development Progressing Very Well, But Release Date Gets Pushed Back

"No Man's Sky" from developer Hello Games remains to be one of the most highly anticipated games this year. While the game's delay frustrate a number of fans, the studio continues to update fans from to time. Hence the wait is certainly not in agony at all. For now, it is worth noting that the development of the game is progressing as expected.

"No Man's Sky" was first announced for release earlier this year. The big reveal happened via a PlayStation 4 blog. But sadly, to the dismay of fans, the original release date was postponed. And since then, the game has been delayed over and over again.

There is no doubt that such progress can be very frustrating, especially to "No Man's Sky" fans. In fact, most of them expected to see the game at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), but not even a shadow of it was seen. Nonetheless, as reported by Parent Herald, Hello Games' very own Sean Murray iterated that everything is going well.

That despite the no-show at E3, the development of "No Man's Sky" remains highly consistent. Of course, there are still hurdles to be expected. Murray even said that the upcoming game is their one and only shot, so messing up is not something that they would want to happen.

But of course, what Murray really wanted to say is that "No Man's Sky" will be again delayed for the nth time. As of this writing, the game is slated to be released in August 9 instead in North America, as reported by TheSixthAxis. Europe, on the other hand, will have to wait a day's time, as the game arrives in August 10.

Needless to say, these changes in release dates are one of the primary reasons for a fanbase to grow impatient and disappointed with a particular game. Well, for the fans of Hello Game's upcoming title, they better hope "No Man's Sky" meet expectations and deliver quality.
