'The Witcher 3' Game Of The Year Edition Is Coming On August, The Last Hurrah For The Franchise!

It is no secret that "The Witcher 3" will receive no follow-ups and/or spin-offs from CD Projekt Red. After all, the studio already iterated in the past their plans to focus on a new IP or more specifically "Cyberpunk 2077". Nevertheless, a seemingly last hurrah for the title is on its way, as its Game of the Year Edition will be released soon on all gaming formats.

According to WCCFTech, the Poland-based video game company has recently announced the coming of "The Witcher 3" Game of the Year Edition. Although nothing much has been revealed about it, its release date is likely to be in a month or so. It will be unleashed on all gaming platforms across all regions.

Reports also suggest that some online retailers have stated August 30 as the "The Witcher 3" Game of the Year Edition" official release date. While this could be changed without prior notice of sorts, the studio nonetheless unveiled a couple of trailers for it. Nevertheless, the aforementioned release date should be only taken as a grain of salt, as no confirmation or whatsoever was given by CD Projekt Red.

"The Witcher 3" Game of the Year Edition will reportedly include the base game. Apart from that, two DLC packs, both of which were released in the past few months, will also be introduced. The downloadable contents are namely "The Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine."

The talks about "The Witcher 3" Game of the Year Edition all rooted from an entry in a German games rating database. It was listed as it is, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC being the official gaming platforms. Shortly after the leak, as reported by Design & Trend, CD Projekt Red's very own director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz confirmed the speculations.

More information about the "The Witcher 3" Game of the Year Edition will be announced anytime soon, as the studio claims. From there, its release date along with other features will be surely unveiled.
