'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Now Available For Pre-Order, Has Story Connection With 'Dragon Ball Super'; Is Goku Black Included?

The follow up to the previous installment "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" remains as one of the highly anticipated games this year. And now, the game is expected to hit the pre-order stages, while offering some special editions to gamers. Apart from that, the titular "Dragon Ball Super" might likely have a connection to the upcoming title's storyline.

According to Parent Herald, as soon as "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" becomes available for pre-orders, fans will have the chance to acquire more collectible items and bonuses. In fact, they can also opt to purchase the special editions included if they want to. But of course, it is expected to cost a little more.

The most interesting item to have when pre-ordering "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is the so-called Goku Black, which could become playable. Indeed, this is a great addition to have, especially the character is the villain in "Dragon Ball Super." In the story, this evil version of Goku is believed to have come from the future.

Moreover, pre-ordering "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" could open the doors to getting a flying Tao Pai Pai Stick. It simply means that this vehicle can roam the sky, allowing players to traverse across the world.

Speaking of Goku Black, this character's addition could mean a possible connection between "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and "Dragon Ball Super." Forbes notes that this could all be due to the Future Trunks going back to the past. That the Trunks in "Xenoverse" is the same one and is also part of the brand new Time Patrol. Another proof is Goku Black's time ring, which allows him to travel efficiently through time (and vice versa).

Whether or not "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" ends up with a connection to "Dragon Ball Super," it is still an interesting game to play. After all, almost everyone in the world loves Goku and his friends. What better way to show that appreciation but through playing the game, right?
