'Mortal Kombat X' DLC 'Kombat Pack 3' To Be Unveiled At San Diego Comic-Con As Ed Boon Leads Panel Discussion?

Almost all "Mortal Kombat X" fans were anticipating for a big reveal at the recently concluded EVO. Everyone was waiting for NetherRealm to unveil "Kombat Pack 3" at the event, but it did not happen. Now, reports are suggesting that the much awaited DLC might likely be in the spotlight come San Diego Comic-Con this year.

A very interesting tweet from "Mortal Kombat X" creator Ed Boon has made fans stoked about the release of "Kombat Pack 3" at EVO. It rooted from the way it was constructed, with the letters E, V and O capitalized. Hence many believed that the said event is where the upcoming DLC will be first revealed. Unfortunately, not a shadow of it was seen.

Boon, however, confirmed via Twitter that the big "Mortal Kombat X" announcement was not really planned for EVO. And although he did not elaborate when it will be made, fans are told to expect in the coming days or so.

According to Vine Report, "Mortal Kombat X" highly anticipated content could actually be unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. After all, Boon will play a huge part in the event's panel discussion -- something that will be hosted by Warner Bros. And take note: the latter is responsible for publishing the game.

Nonetheless, it holds true that the Warner Bros. will be talking about "Injustice 2." But of course, given the situation, it is really likely for "Mortal Kombat X" DLC "Kombat Pack 3" to be part of everything about it.

Ecumenical News, on the other hand, cites that "Mortal Kombat X" fans will indeed be receiving an update from NetherRealm. The question, however, is when and if they are indeed receiving the third content called "Kombat Pack 3."

Currently, the studio (as well as Boon) has remained mum about the "Mortal Kombat X" rumors pertaining to San Diego Comic-Con. Meanwhile, fans are expecting for Smoke, Sindel and Fujin to be part of the forthcoming DLC.
