The newest "Fallout 4" DLC from Bethesda has finally arrived. The second-to-the-last content is now made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And while many could easily adjust to it, some might want to know how to exactly maximize the expansion. More so, how to install the "Vault-Tec Workshop."
The newly-arrived "Fallout 4" DLC has brought in a new kind of excitement for the fans to experience. However, like the other previous contents, it will not be downloaded automatically, as reported by iDigitalTimes. There are steps to be done and they are as follows.
How To Download "Fallout 4" DLC "Vault-Tec Workshop"
- First and foremost, players must have the latest "Fallout 4" patch.
- The file size of "Vault-Tec Workshop" is only 500 MB, but it is still best to have the right hard drive space.
- For PS4 users, simply go to the "New Release" section of the "Fallout 4" DLC menu. As for Xbox One owners (or those using Steam), just go directly to the game's store page.
- Players who have Season Pass will have to separately purchase the said content at a price of just $4.99.
- Start Download.
- Once the aforementioned DLC is installed, "Fallout 4" must be loaded up. From there, players will just have to go to the "Add Ons" option (main menu) and select the "Vaul-Tec Workshop" content. Done!
It should be noted, though, that players have to be at least level 20 in-order to start even a single "Fallout 4" quest in the DLC.
How To Conduct Experiments In New "Fallout 4" DLC
The newly-arrived "Fallout 4" expansion basically allows players to conduct various experiments with their settlers. There are a total of 4 main experiments -- namely, Power Cycle 1000, Phoropter, Soda Fountain and Slot Machine. To run even a single experiment/test, players must power-up both the terminal and the object. Attach the terminal to the corresponding object, and then simply select the experiment they want to conduct. The results can be seen through the Vault Overseer desk, something that they have to build and access through the computer.
How To Build Terminals In New "Fallout 4" DLC
To start, "Fallout 4" players must open the workshop menu and navigate themselves to the so-called Power and Miscellaneous. It should be the second option in the menu, found on the right next to the Settlement Beacon. AttackOfTheFanboy suggests using a generator to power it all up, as it can produce at least 5 units of energy. Nonetheless, the decision is all up to the players.
