Samsung Gear S3 News & Update: Samsung To Launch Gear S3 In September With Rotary Bezel

According to the latest rumors, Samsung will unveil its Gear S3 smartwatch in September, at the IFA 2016 trade show in Berlin.

The online publication TechnoBuffalo reports that the South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled its impressive Gear S2 smartwatch last year in Berlin, at the IFA trade show. Now the company is preparing to announce its new generation wearable device at this year's conference, exactly a year later.

The Samsung Gear S2 wearable device has been well received on the market, by both customers and tech experts. Now fans of wearable devices are looking forward to Samsung's next generation smartwatch.

There have been several speculations, rumors and leaks about the Samsung Gear S3. Among the latest leaks are images claiming to show the first glimpse of the upcoming Samsung smartwatch.

The Gear S3 follow-up smartwatch will debut at IFA 2016, sporting a classic design and a rotary bezel just like its predecessor, the Gear S2. Even if the wearable device will keep its similar circular display, tech analysts expect that Samsung will include some notable spec and feature upgrades.

There are also some rumors speculating that the South Korean company is working on the design of a high-end model smartwatch together with Swiss jeweler de Grisogono. However, it is not expected that the high-end variant of the Samsung wearable device will launch earlier than in the beginning of the next year. The new gadget from Samsung could feature some internal upgrades, including a bigger battery and a faster processor.

According to the online publication Sam Mobile, the Samsung Gear S3 is codenamed, Solis. The wearable device will run Tizen. The upcoming Samsung smartwatch will feature a 1.2-inch circular display, same as its predecessor Gear S2.

IFA takes place every year in Berlin, in the month of September. This year's edition of the event will run from September 2-7.
