LG CES 2025: New 3-in-1 Projector Brings Display, Bluetooth Speaker, and Lamp For Smart Home

LG wants you to hide a projector and speaker in a home lamp when not in use.

At the annual CES tech showcase, LG unveiled its latest innovation, a versatile 3-in-1 projector designed for the smart home. The South Korean tech giant introduced a device that combines a projector, Bluetooth speaker, and lamp, providing a seamless addition to home decor while enhancing entertainment and functionality.

The new device offers a unique way for users to integrate a projector into their living spaces without disrupting the room's aesthetic. While resembling a floor lamp, it offers much more than just illumination, catering to various needs for modern homes.

LG's new offering, the PF600U, is the latest addition to the company's CineBeam lineup. This smart home projector is designed to meet the growing demand for multifunctional devices, delivering Full HD (1920x1080p) resolution and 300 ANSI lumens of brightness. The device operates on LG's webOS, enabling users to stream content directly from popular platforms.

The PF600U also features an auto-screen adjustment function, allowing the display to adapt to various surfaces, making it highly versatile. Beyond its role as a projector, the device doubles as a floor lamp, complete with a dedicated stand that allows a 110-degree tilt. Additionally, it functions as a Bluetooth speaker, capable of streaming audio from various apps, including music and podcasts.

However, the PF600U is limited to Full HD resolution, falling short of the 4K capabilities found in LG's previous CineBeam Q, which was hailed as the smallest 4K projector in the world.

LG Expands on Smart Home Offers

In addition to the PF600U, LG introduced several other advancements in home technology at CES 2025. The CineBeam S (PU615U) is now the smallest 4K projector available, featuring Ultra Short Throw (UST) technology for enhanced portability and display quality. The CineBeam S is equipped with webOS and Dolby Atmos-powered sound, enhancing both visuals and audio for a premium viewing experience.

LG also unveiled its 2025 OLED EVO smart TV lineup, the xboom by will.i.am speaker, a 5K2K UltraGear OLED gaming monitor, and a new "Affectionate Intelligence" initiative aimed at improving smart home interactions.

LG's Smart Home Solutions

While LG ceased its smartphone development several years ago, the company has shifted its focus to expanding its smart home solutions. Last year, at CES 2024, LG introduced an AI-powered robot designed to monitor pets and patrol the house, built in collaboration with Qualcomm's Robotics RB5 platform.

LG's continued dedication to smart home technology has solidified its position as a leading brand in the United States and other international markets. With the introduction of its latest projectors and smart home offerings at CES 2025, the company continues to push the boundaries of convenience, entertainment, and home integration.
