Dark Souls 3 Update: Events Where Upcoming DLCs Could Be Revealed

It has been confirmed several times - from one article to another - that Dark Souls 3 will be getting two DLCs. After that, players can expect the game to conclude. However, what grinds the gears of many fans is the fact that these contents have yet to acquire an official release date. While both Bandai Namco and FromSoftware remain mum about the two expansions' status quo, there are particular events where they can be unveiled.

First and foremost, the director of Dark Souls 3 Hidetaka Miyazaki already iterated the release windows of the two upcoming DLCs. He mentioned the first one being unleashed in Fall this year (probably in September), while the other is expected to arrive in early 2017, as reported here at iTech Post. However, as for the specific dates, clearly, they are still unknown. Nonetheless, below are some of the events where these downloadable contents could be showcased.

Dark Souls 3 DLCs At Gamescom 2016

According to the official Gamescom website, the upcoming event will start on August 17 and end on August 21. Way back last year, Dark Souls 3 was featured at Gamescom 2015. So, in a sense, there is every possibility for the game's forthcoming DLCs to be showcased here.

Even more interesting, Bandai Namco confirmed their appearance at the said event, with the plans to introduce Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2, Tekken 7 and one unnamed title. For the game's fans out there, there is hope that the studio might reveal the first DLC at this event. After all, the first content is also rumored to arrive this month.

Dark Souls 3 DLCs At Tokyo Game Show 2016

Another digital gaming event on the list is the so-called Tokyo Game Show 2016, something that most Dark Souls 3 fans in Japan are looking forward to. The aforesaid event is scheduled to run from September 15 to 18. And sure enough, the dates still cover the Fall release window of Dark Souls' first downloadable content.

Moreover, the aforementioned event at Tokyo has a higher chance of including the first Dark Souls 3 DLC. This is due to the fact that it will be packed with Japanese games, with Bandai being one of the devs hailing from the Land of the Rising Sun. Fortunately, the studio is already confirmed to be part of it.
