Actor Thomas Gibson Fired From 'Criminal Minds' After Kicking Producer

One of the longest-running shows in television today, "Criminal Minds," has just suffered a loss of one of the characters in the series. Actor Thomas Gibson, who plays the role of Aaron Hotchner, has just been fired from the series.

It has recently been announced in a joint statement by ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios that actor Thomas Gibson has been fired from "Criminal Minds." According to BBC, Gibson was fired due to a physical alteration on the set while they were shooting for the series.

Reports claim that Gibson kicked the producer on set during a disagreement that ultimately led to a physical attack. The alteration occurred last month in Los Angeles, but the announcement of the decision has recently been announced.

In an official statement made by the network, it said that the creative details on how the character will exit the show will be announced later on, as reported by People. The statement made was short and precise, clear about what has been indicated.

Thomas Gibson of "Criminal Minds" also made an apology to the public about what had happened, not denying anything about the issue that has happened. He said that there were creative differences and disagreements that occurred on set, and he regrets it all ever happened.

There have been reports that this is not the first time the actor has been engaged in a physical alteration on set of Criminal Minds. Thomas Gibson has allegedly been involved in another physical incident with a member of the staff of the show a few years back, but the issue was not addressed.

The past incident could have also been a basis for the decision that was made in the present time, to prevent the incident from happening again in the future. Fans are now in dismay at the loss of one of the most notable and most beloved characters on the show. After all, "Criminal Minds" will not be the same without Gibson.
