The Elder Scrolls 6 Update: Bethesda Plans To Release Game Following Two New Titles

The Elder Scrolls 6 is probably one of the most highly-anticipated games from Bethesda. For a long time now, fans of the franchise have been clamoring for a new installment. The good thing, though, is that it's confirmed to arrive. However, its release window is still unknown. In fact, the game's studio only plans to unveil anything about it once everything's set.

First off, as what GamingBolt reports, The Elder Scrolls 6 wasn't revealed at Gamescom 2016. This was despite the rumors of the studio unveiling it during the event. Bethesda's very own Pete Hines was the one who broke the sad news.

Adding to The Elder Scrolls 6 waiting game is the fact that the company plans to release it following two other big titles. Simply put, the development of the new installment will have to be put in the backseat. This is primarily due to the fact that Bethesda wants to focus on developing the two upcoming projects.

If this is the case with The Elder Scrolls 6, then fans might want to keep their hopes low. In one way or another, the game wouldn't arrive anytime soon. As for the two new titles, these are said to be published by the Maryland-based video game company. But as for the development job, other studios are believed to be working on them.

PC Gamer, on the other hand, notes that anything about The Elder Scrolls 6 will only be officially revealed unless the game is 100% percent ready. This means that as long as the title is still in development, fans can't expect any tiny bit of info from the studio. But hey, it's still a good thing, as it is nonetheless confirmed to arrive.

It should be noted that the only reason the company -- Hines in particular -- confirmed the existence of The Elder Scrolls 6 is due to the community. That they have grown tired of getting asked from time to time. And indeed, what's a better way to stop those but by confirming it, right?
