Xiaomi is coming out with a new smartphone which it will be showcased at an event this August. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is said to come out together with the Redmi 4. Both phones have been teased earlier by Xiaomi in partnership with China Mobile.
According to Phone Arena the new smartphone will come out on August 25. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4 replaces the Redmi Note 3 and Redmi 3 respectively.
The Redmi Note 4 was leaked earlier on Weibo, China's version of Twitter. On that leak the model number given to the Redmi Note 4 was Xiaomi 2016050. It's release was cleared by TENAA, China's telecom certification authority.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is said to have a 5.5-inch screen display. It will have the MediaTek Helio X20 as its processor. Two versions of the phone will come out. One version will have 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. Whereas, the other will have a 64 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM. It will have a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.
The specs that came with it are from a leaked box image, as reported by the International Business Times. Whether those specs will be the same at launch, remains to be seen, as changes do happen to specs and features before launch.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 will also be coming out with two variants. As it is with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the Redmi 4's two variants will have different specs. One variant will have a 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. The other variant is said to come with a 32GB storage and 3GB RAM.
Both Xiaomi Redmi 4 variants will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Both will also have a 5 inch IPS LCD display. As with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, specs might be different upon launch.
