Nintendo NX is rumored to launch along with fan favorite games such Mario, Legend of Zelda and even Legend of Zelda. The Nintendo US head also promise to handle things differently with regards to the upcoming release of the NX platform and its games.
Nintendo NX Game Library
The Japanese game console maker will reportedly release a substantial number of Nintendo NX games within six months after the console's launch. It is confirmed though, that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be included the Nintendo NX debut. The Mario and Pokemon game series are also certified hits and fans believed or hope that Nintendo will include them as well. Critics believed that the Wii U failed as a gaming platform due to the dearth of games available for it, according to Polygon.
Nintendo America President Reggie Fils-Aime acknowledged the mistakes done by his colleagues and counterparts with regards to the handling of the Wii U, according to Game Spot. During the initial launch of the Wii U, the number of games that accompanied it were some of Nintendo's best.
Learning from Wii U Mistakes
Unfortunately, most of the developers who earlier promise to deliver Wii U contents backed away. This is one the major reasons why many players shied away from the Wii. There is not much content and the ones available tend to be pricey.
Nintendo NX Details and Rumors
The Nintendo NX is scheduled for release on March 2017. However, the Japanese company has been tight lipped on capabilities and even appearance of this upcoming gaming platform.
There are rumors that the Nintendo NX will be a hybrid home and portable game console. The late Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata described the NX as a "brand new concept".
Nintendo fans hope that the NX will fare better than the Wii U.
