If you are currently looking for new drones, Parrot's new products may be worth a shot. Parrot is the maker of drones and other wireless products. According to sources, Parrot has released two new additions to its line of drones and the company is naming them the Parrot Swing and the Parrot Mambo.
Parrot Mambo Specs
According to a post about the new drones, the Parrot Mambo is similar to your usual quadcopter drone, it just has a few added features. Users can attach a cannon on the device so they can aim balls into a target, allowing people to either take their friends' drones down or hit objects using the cannon balls.
Alongside the ball firing addition to the Parrot Mambo, it was also said that the drone can pick up objects too. The drone's arm is able to pick up things weighing a maximum of four grams, roughly the weight of four paper clips. For the price of Parrot Mambo, the source says that the ball-shooting drone can be yours for only $119.99.
Parrot Swing Specs
The Parrot Swing on the other hand is described as a drone that can fly like a plane, can be controlled like a quadcopter, and a look-alike of the X Wing Fighter. Additionally, this Parrot drone can fly both vertically and horizontally. It does a take off the same way a quadcopter does, then its propellers face their sides to move the drone forwards.
The Parrot Swing can fly at the speed of 18 mph and it can do some flipping and looping while it is in the air. This unique drone however, is more expensive by a bit compared to the Parrot Mambo. The Swing can be yours at a price of $139.99.
Parrot Drones Features
Both the Parrot Mambo and the Parrot Swing come with cameras. However, these cameras only have the old VGA resolutions. Nevertheless, the drones are easy to control and can be collaborated with Android devices. If you are to use any of the two drones, you can control them using their Android app called FreeFlight Mini.
