Lenovo A Plus vs Xiaomi Mi Redmi 4 - Specs, Design Comparison

Last month, Xiaomi released its new handheld, the Redmi Note 4, into the smartphone market. Thus far, the reviews on the same have been stable and it looks like the Chinese company has scored another winner. On the other hand, Lenovo, who is getting a more secure hold on the smartphone market, is scheduled to release its A Plus unit next month, as the company announced at 2016 IFA Berlin.

The Xioami Redmi Note 4

According to NDTV Gadgets, the Redmi Note 4 was launched just last month. The unit is powered by a 2.1GHz MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 processor. While it runs in a humble 2GB of RAM, the unit does have an expandable 16GB of internal storage. Should users opt for it, they can have as much as 128GB of memory via a microSD card. The rear and front cameras of the unit are 15 megapixels and 5 megapixels respectively.

Right out of the box, the Redmi Note 4 runs on Android 6.0 and has a very reliable 4100mAh battery. Its 5.5 inch touchscreen, which has a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, is housed within a body that weighs just 175 grams. All around, the handheld measures just 151.00 x 76.00 x 8.30 mm.

The unit is available in Gold, Grey and Silver options and can house up to two SIM cards.

The Lenovo A Plus

Meanwhile, the Lenovo A Plus was just recently unveiled at the 2016 IFA Berlin and will go on sale within the month, as reported by DNA India.

The Lenovo A Plus will be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor and will run a low 1GB of RAM. It starts with an internal memory space of just 8GB, which users can expand to 32GB via a microSD card. The rear and front cameras of the handheld are 5 megapixels and 2 megapixels respectively.

The 4.5 inch FWVGA screen of the Lenovo A Plus has a 480x854 pixel resolution. The unit also sports a 2000mAh battery.
