If there's one thing that fans hope for Bethesda to do, it's no other than release the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls 6. While its release date remains unknown for sure, there are talks about the title being announced next year. And what better way to make such big reveal? Well, that's during Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017. After all, the studio will host its own press conference at the said event.
The speculations about The Elder Scrolls 6 being unveiled at E3 rooted from Pete Hines himself. Bethesda's Vice President somehow confirmed, via Metro, that the company will "probably" host a press conference at the forthcoming gaming event. Heck, he even mentioned about them having "enough stuff to fill the time" so as to prepare for it.
Seemingly referring to The Elder Scrolls 6, Hines iterated that the main reason behind a 2017 E3 press conference is to announce a thing or two at once. And sure enough, the aforesaid event is a great avenue to inform the whole world rather than a few people.
If anything else, there's a higher chance that The Elder Scrolls 6 will be announced next year. Of course, the studio might not go into details about its release date or whatnots. Nevertheless, it's still something to look forward to. Besides, the company might just give the community a preview to what the game will be all about.
It should be noted, however, that the likes of The Elder Scrolls 6 require a good amount of time in terms of development. Players can take Fallout 4 as a best example. Remember that the leaks only happened during the latter days prior to its release.
So, if the aforementioned situation is to be considered, there's also a smaller percentage that The Elder Scrolls 6 might remain a mystery even next year. Again, the epitome is Fallout 4, which was revealed 6 months before its final release date.
