iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus: Is There Really A Difference?

Apple has just unveiled its lineup of new technologically advanced gadgets in the Apple Event. With it comes the arrival of the iPhone 7 as well as the bigger iPhone 7 Plus. Upon first glance, the two iPhones look alike, much more when compared to their previous models, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus.

This puts them in a controversial debate as to whether they are worth the buy? Is there really a difference between the two that makes them a must-have?

Upon the unveiling of the new phones to the public, it was also proved that all of the leaked features were perfectly forecasted. With it came the radical changes in the device's internals and cameras, making it a very different beast when compared to its predecessors.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus: Size, Camera, Battery And Price

It is proven to be a big disappointment that Apple hasn't made any radical changes in the physical appearance of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for the second year. This leaves them behind the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7.

The two iPhones are at first glance really alike, except that the iPhone 7 Plus has a larger display, where it is 25 percent bigger than the standard one. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are the same in terms of the lack of a headphone jack, and that they have a single Lightning port. With that alone, the two iPhones are practically identical.

The adaptors are also packed together with the device in the box, but a huge downside is that users cannot use the iPhone's headset when the smartphone is being charged. The two phones are different in terms of battery life as the iPhone 7 Plus has two to three hours more battery.

As of now, the price of the iPhone 7 starts at £599, £699 and £799 for the 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB respectively. The iPhone 7 Plus is priced at £719, £819 and £919 for the 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB variants.

To sum it all up, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus do not have that much of a difference. But if you value a great deal on the size of your phone, then surely the differences do matter a lot, and most likely you can easily get to pick which iPhone you will get your hands on.
