Apple released its very first smartwatch, the Apple Watch, two years ago. And now, its successor the Apple Watch 2 has finally debuted.
The American company claims to have "completely re-engineered" the very fabric and makeup of its own smartwatch. The Apple Watch Series 2 runs on the all-new smartwatch operating system, the WatchOS 3. The new Apple smarwatch features a dual-core processor that is two times faster than the previous model.
Features Of The Apple Watch Series 2
The graphics' computing power has also doubled up from the older Apple Watch. In addition, the Apple Watch 2 boasts built-in GPS. As a result, user do not have to heavily rely on bringing their iPhones to track the speed and distance covered in a run.
Also, one of the best features that the Apple Watch Series 2 has is that it is waterproof and is made possible thanks to the newly introduced WatchOS 3. The user can freely swim with the new Apple wearable on without any hesitation, as it also has two waterproof Workout modes - Pool Swim and Open Water Swim.
It has a built-in app that tracks swimming efficiency, giving more accurate and precise measurements to one's workout productivity. The display is two times brighter than the previous model, having a brightness display measurement of 1000 nits.
The user can also freely write on the screen thanks to the Scribble mode if voice recognition fails. The Control Center is also present, giving users easy access to the settings, together with the standard smart replies that are shown in the notifications.
