iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4 Gets Double The Storage; iPad Pro Price Decreases

Apple did a good job at aiming everyone's focus at the iPhone 7 launch. Apparently, this crafty misdirection gave them enough time to sneak in some surprises that involve the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 4.

Apple Event Announcements

Most of the things that happened at the Apple event were somewhat expected, especially the announcement of the iPhone 7. Apple also discussed the Apple Watch Series 2, but the much awaited iPad Mini 5 was a no show.

While consumers and tech experts were busy anticipating the iPhone 7, Apple's older iPad Air and iPad mini models just got an upgrade, MacRumors reports.

Apple Improved Storage For iPad Mini 4 And iPad Air 2

Apple's older models of the iPad Air and iPad Mini just got a notable upgrade. The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 doesn't have a 16 GB storage anymore, but instead the storage was revamped and increased up to 32 GB as the minimum storage. What's even better is that both models have options to choose 128 GB as the device's maximum storage.

Yet, despite the sneaky upgrades that the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4 got, prices for both models did not increase and it still costs the same as it usually did. Though Apple should still take heed as there are other sellers that sell the iPad Air 2 with bigger storage and wifi at a much cheaper price.

Apple iPad Pro Introduced At The Apple Event

The iPad Pro has finally been introduced and it comes with plenty of options for die-hard Apple fans. The iPad Pro model is going to have 32 GB storage as a start and you have the chance to choose from 32 GB to 128 GB or even 256 GB. Despite the upgrade in storage, Apple's iPad Pro comes with two variations which allows users to choose a device that has built-in LTE or not, while offering them in different display sizes as well, according to International Business Times.

Many would expect that the iPad Pro would cost a lot more than it should, but this time, Apple is doing its fans a favor by decreasing its price.
