It is reported that the listing for Kingdom Hearts 3 has vanished from the Japanese Xbox website. This has caused fans panic speculation that the anticipated RPG will now be exclusive for the PlayStation 4.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced officially at E3 2013 to support both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Ever since that day, fans from around the world have been patient enough to wait for the much-anticipated game to roll out. Confirmation of the game's availability on both consoles has recently been the center of speculation since its disappearance from the said Xbox website. On top of that, not much news of it is available with regards to release date, nor storyline, not even gameplay footage since it has been announced, GameRant.com reports.
How was it discovered?
When looking for Kingdom Hearts 3 on Xbox Japan's website, fans will be surprised as the listing for the said game was taken down. This has fueled everyone to suspect that if the game is not on the official Xbox site, it might not be available for the console. With that said, it will also mean that Kingdom Hearts 3 may be a Playstation 4 exclusive.
Is it really a PS4 exclusive?
As of this point, all we have is speculation and rumor, but don't underestimate the power of a fan's speculation as most of them prove to be true in the days to come. Also when checking the Square Enix website, Kingdom Hearts 3 is still posted as available for the Xbox One. Whether or not the said website has a delayed update or the Japanese site took down the title for region access reasons, it still remains to be answered officially.
On top of erasing doubts about it being not available for the Xbox One is the fact that the game is still accepting pre-orders
Kingdom Hearts 3 has officially no release date but the expectation still stands that it will come for both the PS4 and Xbox One.
